Tasting wine is a deeply personal experience. Each person’s palate — their ability to smell and taste — is different. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to taste wine, but knowing something about the wine you’re drinking can help you appreciate it all the more!
In our series of Wine 101 classes, Syndicate co-owner David Anderson leads attendees through a fun and engaging hour of sipping, chatting, learning, and sharing. His approach to education is designed to be accessible for wine drinkers of all experience levels.
Session 1 will focus on white, rosé, and red wines, how they are made, how they differ, and how you can tell the difference in some of the winemaking styles of each. As part of the class, attendees will sample through a flight of six wines accentuating their differences, with contextual education to help explain how and why each tastes and smells a certain way.
As part of the session, attendees may purchase bottles presented during the class at a special price, as well as any bottles from our larger library bottle shop.
