Syndicate Wine Bar is growing! We are a community wine bar that has weathered through the pandemic. At present, we operate 90% outdoors with seating for 60 patrons. We will soon expand our indoor space to accommodate just as many customers inside.

Wine Ambassador

The position is for 12-16 hours per week with opportunities for more as business grows. We offer a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience, and customers tip well for excellent service!

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be willing to work two floor shifts per week consistently.
  • Must be a constant student of the industry, or thrive off learning about wine and wine-related culture.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 55 pounds (cases of wine) onto shelves and above your head.
  • Must commit to helping build a small company that will double in size within six (6) months
  • Provide professional customer service, and be personable and approachable
  • Must have strong conflict management skills
  • Have a clear understanding of redirection and education for COVID policies and procedures with customers
  • Be able to manage table times and busy floor needs for a dining space that currently sees 25-30 customers turned away on weekend night due to demand.
  • Must have a current OLCC Servers Permit and a Oregon Food Handlers card.
  • Must have proven industry experience with references
  • Current background check will be required.

Assistant Manager

To help with our planned growth, we are looking to hire an Assistant Manager. The right person for this job will be charged with miscellaneous daytime operations, and nighttime floor management and table service duties for a popular night spot in Beaverton.

The position is for 25-30 hours per week with opportunities for more as business grows. We offer a competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience, and customers tip well for excellent service!

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be willing to work four floor shifts per week (either Tuesday or Wednesday, and Thursday through Saturday) consistently.
  • Must be a constant student of the industry, or thrive off learning about wine and wine-related culture.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 55 pounds (cases of wine) onto shelves and above your head.
  • Must commit to helping build a small company that will double in size within six (6) months
