Aromas: Dried red cherry, red currant jam, baked fig, hibiscus, chocolate, alder smoke, and pencil lead.
Flavors/experience: Dry; Medium-high acidity; Full body. Black cherry, raspberry, baked strawberry, and cola. Structured tannin. A long finish shows cassis, balsamic, browned butter, and red pepper spice. Very good quality.
Specifications: Garnacha sourced from small, dry farmed vineyards in Calatayud DO, in northeast Spain, up to 95 years old. Aged 18 months in French oak. 15.5% alcohol.
