Carlo Noro 2016 Torpiano Cesanese del Piglio



Aromas: Candied red cherry, ripe strawberry, pomegranate peel, violet, prune, roasted tomato, browned sugar, and book leather.

Flavors/experience: Dry; High acidity; Medium body. Vibrant sour cherry, cola, cranberry, and lemon seed. High, finely structured tannin with rosemary astringency. A medium-long finish with blood orange pith, white pepper, and mint. Very good quality.

Specifications: 100% Cesanese from the Cesanese del Puglio DOCG, Italy. 13.5% alcohol.

Somm tip: Some sediment at the bottom of bottle. Careful decanting recommended, not only to pour the wine off sediment, but also aid in opening the wine’s attributes through oxygenation.
