Raventos 2017 Blanc de Blanc

Aromas: Orange blossom, white pear, honeydew, orange peel, cashew, pastry crust, brioche, and sea air.

Flavors/experience: Dry; High acidity; Light body; Fine mousse. Fresh lemon, granny smith apple, dried apricot, and marzipan. Soft mouthfeel with wet stone minerality. A medium long finish shows notes of thyme, citrus oil, and lime peel. Very good quality.

Specifications: A blend of Macabeo (Viura), Xarel-lo, and Parellada varietals from Catalonia, Spain. 12% alcohol.

Somm tip: Best enjoyed when allowed to warm up a bit; Aromas and flavors are muted if served too cold. From the fridge, after opening, wait 10 minutes before serving.
