Aromas: Cherry cordial, dried cranberry, vanilla, caramel, sarsparilla, cinnamon, peat, graphite, and white pepper.
Flavors/experience: Dry; Medium acidity; Medium body. Black cherry, sour plum, browned butter, cola, and pink peppercorn. Fine tannin. A supple finish with complex notes of green tea, black olive, anise, and wintergreen. Very good quality.
Specifications: Pinot Noir from Domaine Drouhin Oregon’s Dundee Hills estate vines. Named after Vérinique’s eldest daughter, with grapes drawn from the estate’s finest blocks. As close as one might get to Grand Cru Burgundy, outside of Grand Cru Burgundy. 13.9% alcohol.
