Aromas: Peach, yellow pear, ginger, butternut squash, pecorino, white tea, and white truffle.
Flavors/experience: Dry; Medium-high acidity; Medium-full body. Apricot, lemon curd, lime, candied ginger, and orange peel. A long finish shows parmesan, almond, and white pepper. Very good quality.
Specifications: 100% barrel-fermented and aged Willamette Valley Pinot Blanc. The name, “Surlie” draws from the French term, “sur lie”, meaning a wine is aged on the lees (fine yeast) after ferment is complete. This method enhances the aromas and flavors of the wine. 12.8% alcohol.
