Flavors/experience: Deep ruby hue. High acidity. Crushed tart blackberry, dried red and black currant, green tea leaves, and sarsparilla. Velvety tannins. A very long finish offers notes of mint and blueberry kirsch. Outstanding quality.
Specifications: Named after pioneer Cyrus Alexander, this Left Bank Bordeaux style wine consists of Alexander Valley Vineyards’ finest estate lots, containing 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, 5% Malbec, and 4% Petit Verdot.
