Aromas: Candied orange peel, dried prunes, tea leaves, scotch, mushroom, black olive, and leather.
Flavors/experience: Mysterious dark fruits and subtle acids are checked by balanced tannin. A lingering, peppery finish fades into a mint after-note. Very good quality.
Specifications: A Walla Walla twist on the Southern Rhone GSM, this wine is actually a “MSGC”, consisting of 41% Mourvèdre, 31% Syrah, 16% Grenache, and 12% Cinsault. The Mourvèdre absolutely shows through and structures this wine beautifully. 14.5% alcohol.
