We dive into what makes one wine more age-worthy than the next, and address what to look for in a wine’s technical specifications that will help you identify one worth collecting and aging.

This class explores age-worthy wines from numerous countries. To prepare, you will want to source the following nine (9) kinds of wines available in the Pacific Northwest wine market:

  • Ancestral method Prosecco from Italy
  • Kabinett Riesling from Mosel, Germany
  • Dry-farmed Oregon Pinot Noir
  • Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG
  • Barolo from Barolo Bussia, Piedmont, Italy
  • Malbec from Uco Valley, Argentina
  • Full-bodied Bordeaux-style blend from Red Mountain AVA
  • Grenache from southwestern France
  • Tawny Port
