Nestled in the northwestern corner of Italy, Piedmont encompasses dozens of winegrowing regions as distinct as the wines produced throughout the land. In this class, we look at micro-climate nuances that contribute to the wine industry’s resulting bounty, and examine nine different wines representing the white and red wines of Piedmont.

Description

This class covers some of the major types of wines, blends, and varietals produced in Piedmont, Italy. To prepare, you will want to source the following nine (9) kinds of Piemontese wines. These are available in the Pacific Northwest wine market. If you cannot find them, a suitable alternative is to source a variety of wines from Piedmont, from the respective DOC/DOCG regions noted below:
