Italy is a diverse and complex country, comprising hundreds of recognized wine growing regions and producing wines made from just as many varietals.

This class but scratches the surface of wines found in Tuscany, a part of the country spanning some 23,000 square miles, with edges reaching seas, mountains, valleys and rivers, and with a rich story dating back to prehistoric times.

Description

This class covers some of the major wines produced in Tuscany, Italy. To prepare, you will want to source the following seven (7) Tuscan wines. These wines are available in the Pacific Northwest wine market. If you cannot find them, a suitable alternative is to source a variety of similar wines from Tuscany, labeled as “Toscana”, or “Super Tuscans”, or from the respective regions as noted below.
