Aromas: Dried red currant, leather, mushroom, earth, and dill.
Flavors/experience: Lively acids, with flavors of tart cherry, baked raspberry, stewed plum, and boysenberry. Fine, silky tannins transition to notes of black pepper and anise on a very long finish. Very good quality. Medium-full bodied, 14.8% alcohol.
Specifications: This wine is made from the oldest producing vines in the Pacific Northwest, planted in 1900-1902, on a site above The Dalles, Oregon, in the Columbia Valley AVA.
