Flavors/experience: Syrupy acids offer layers of strawberry jam, cherry cola, and licorice. Fine tannins carry toasted nut and espresso. A lingering finish shows notes of vanilla and cassis.
Specifications: This is a full-bodied Right Bank Bordeaux style (Merlot-dominant) red blend produced by Zerba Cellars, a winery located in the Oregon portion of the Walla Walla AVA. This wine won Double Gold and Best In Show at the 2019 Walla Walla Wine Celebration. Consisting of 63% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petite Sirah, it is very well balanced, and very good quality. 14.2% alcohol.
