Expanding Our Selection Of High Value Wines

The short version: We’re adding new, excellent wines at lower prices!

The long version (a bit longer!):

A major shift has occurred in the wine world due to the pandemic. Wine buyers are more cost conscious, and seeking out less expensive wines. As a result, online and grocery store sales are up dramatically.

Syndicate’s wine selection is unique, in that many wines we carry are available only through on-premise sources (such as the tasting room, or specialty shops like us). Though we’ll never be able to compete with grocery stores — nor will that ever be a goal — we understand the changing times require adaptation.

So… as we continue increasing our inventory of specialty wines, we’re introducing more “high value” wines. These are wines of high quality, that are available at reduced prices. As an on-premise shop, we benefit from discounts not available anywhere else.

Beyond this, we’re revising our pricing of our house labels:

Syndicate 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon has been reduced from $45 to $29.99!

Buy Now! Just $23.99

Syndicate 2015 Pinot Noir has been reduced from $35 to $29.99!

Buy Now! Just $23.99

Beyond this, we’re offering them (and all wines) at an additional 20% off. That means you can pick up a bottle of Cab or Pinot for just $23.99!

The price reduction is part of a longer term strategy, in light of our goals as an Oregon Benefit Company to make great wines accessible and affordable to all. We invite you to take advantage of these savings, and help support your local wine shop!

Banfi 2015 Aurora Rosé Alta Langa DOCG

Have you ever unintentionally compared Nebbiolo to Pinot Noir? Both produce wines known for higher acidity, medium body, floral nose, and earthy palate. A couple times while blind tasting, my own senses have had me guessing which varietal I was sampling. It's for good...

Time Capsule In A Glass: Mazzei Wines

This is a tale of a legacy that began in the Middle Ages. In 1398, the first-known reference to Chianti wine appeared on a scribed purchase order for six barrels of "Chianti" to be supplied by a notable wine merchant, Ser Lapo Mazzei to a private buyer. Through the...

Everything Full Circle

This post is actually one of gratitude, of things coming full circle, and recognizing that one's errors from the past can help guide a brighter future. There will also be some snark, because. "Here's your final check. Never set foot on this block again." It was August...
