Aromas: Dried currant, baked plum, prune, roasted chili pepper, cedar, molasses, scotch, and cola.
Flavors/experience: Rich layers of ripe fruit acidity, cassis, blackberry and raspberry atop cocoa and vanilla. Finely structured tannins, with a delicate, lingering finish showing notes of caramel, chickory, and sarsparilla. Very complex, very well balanced, exceptional quality.
Specifications: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Aged 16 months in French oak, 50% new. 14.5% alcohol.
