Aromas: Pronounced dark fruit right upon opening the bottle. Raspberry, baked plum, lavender, dill, cedar, and coffee.
Flavors/experience: Moderate acidity and delicate tannins, with a long finish. Very well balanced, considering this wine’s complexity, despite its relatively young age. Very good quality.
Specifications: From the Margeret River appellation of southwest Australia, a promontory that extends into the Indian Ocean. Heavily influenced by maritime weather patterns, the region receives relatively little rainfall, and has growing conditions similar to Bordeaux during a dry vintage. 14.5% alcohol.
