2015 Seven Hills Walla Walla Red Wine

Aromas: Blackberry and plum, earth, cedar, vanilla, and licorice.

Flavors/experience: Deep ruby red in hue. Flavors of jammy red fruits give way to soft, layered tannins, with a long finish. Very good quality.

Specifications: This wine is a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. As is the style with many “big” Walla Walla wines, you can taste the prevalence of new oak that has been used to soften the tannins. Seven Hills Winery began in 1988 as the fifth winery established in the Walla Walla Valley, drawing fruits from such producers as Seven Hills Vineyard, known for its ultra-premium quality grapes. 14.7% alcohol.
